Camping Grounds Rules and Regulations

We are a campground NOT a caravan park.  We are not marked into sites.  Power and water subject to availability. Please camp where directed by Caretaker or Signage.

  1. Duration of Stay – 3 nights MAX. (3 days out policy) at the Discretion of Caretaker. The Maleny Show Society reserves the right to refuse camping registration.  All camping rules are at the discretion of the Caretaker and/or Maleny Show Society Executive.

  2. No tents or swags only.  No tarps on ground.  Breathable mats only.

  3. Sleeping in cars not permitted

  4. Power & Water subject to availability but not guaranteed for full time connection.  Personal use only.  Restrictions may apply.  

  5. All fees to be paid on arrival.

  6. CCTV security cameras are on site 24/7 for safety.  Insurance on vehicles and belongings are wholly your responsibility.

  7. The registered occupant of the site is responsible for all members and guests.

  8. All vehicles to be registered and these details are required on registration form.  1 vehicle per site allowed.

  9. Site fee includes use of toilets and showers, and these are to be left in a clean & tidy condition.

  10. Power – 1 point per site.  Extra fee of $5 per extra power point applies.  Gas fixtures must have a current compliance certificate.

  11. Washing of cars and caravans prohibited.

  12. Greywater hoses must not flow into creek.

  13. Speed limit of 10klms/hr within grounds.  Road rules enforced throughout grounds.

  14. Acceptance of any pet is at the discretion of the Caretaker.

  15. Dogs (max 2 dogs). Pet policy must be adhered to.  Dogs must be always on a controlled lead, unless in off leash designated area.  Some parts of campground are “no pets”.  Please clean up after you pets.

  16. NO DOGS ON OVALS – PLEASE USE OFF LEASH DESIGNATED AREA.

  17. Pets are not to be left unattended. Pet owners agree to take full responsibility of any personal injury or damage caused by their pet whilst at the showgrounds and agree to pay for any claims of compensation in relation to the pets’ activities.

  18. Respect your fellow campers and caretakers. Report any suspicious behaviours.  Failure to follow rules will result in immediate eviction with no warning or refund given.

  19. FIRES- No fires allowed on the grounds.

  20. Noise – to be kept at an acceptable level.  10pm to 6am council noise regulations enforced.

  21. Dump point to be used in the correct manner and to be left in clean and safe condition.

  22. Alcohol consumption is to be contained within caravan or annex area.

  23. Maintenance- any repairs and maintenance to be carried out to your property on the grounds (DIY -Maintenance use of electrical tools that must meet standard safety requirements) needs to be approved by caretaker.

  24. NO DRONES.

  25. Parents are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of their children. Children are not to be left unattended.  Parents will be required to pay for any damage to property caused by their children or guests.
